Sinner

Loitering on roads, singing on streets

Laughing out loud on something funny

Giving voice to opinions on matters important

Or saying something out of the ordinary

Once again her life beamed

But only when she dreamed

Wearing short skirts, dancing in clubs

Tasting wine at a family dinner

The right to choose a life partner

Without being called a sinner

Once again her eyes gleamed

But only when she dreamed

Despite everyone supporting gender equality certain notions still seem to be out of grasp for girls. Despite being from an educated family many girls face discrimination when it comes to at what time they should reach home, what they should wear, how they should talk and many other things. With this post I hope that whatever boundaries are set, should be set for girls as well as boys.
