I kept begging you to stay

In every damn possible way

The agony makes me fray

Cries didn’t make you sway

Neither words nor play

It is indeed a doomsday

I kept begging you to stay

But you left me anyway

Sometimes we have to say goodbye to loved ones, be it temporary or permanent. Sometimes those goodbyes are a force of nature and there’s nothing we can do about it. I hope that with each goodbye there’s a new beginning no matter how heart breaking the parting was.
